Welcome
Hi, Friend/s
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read about our church. Our website cannot communicate the excitement we share about what God is at work doing amongst us, but we trust that what you do find here will be helpful and uplifting.
Our vision is to be a church where God is glorified as he grows his kingdom. We seek to glorify God through our life together as a congregation as well as in our personal walk. Our commitment to see his kingdom grown is expressed in our participation in local, national and international mission.
Our church community is one of diverse age groups and nationalities and we seek to shape ministries to cater for this breadth of needs, but also to provide ways to express our love for and call to serve our wider community.
We are deeply committed to the faithful teaching of the Scriptures, believing that God’s Word brings freedom and life. That is why our worship services and small group activity is centred on the Bible. The teaching that is given on Sunday morning is designed to help people understand the Bible in its original context with meaningful application to our lives today.
We have three Sunday services. Our 10:00AM service is characterised by contemporary congregational worship with the families supported by a vibrant Kid’s Church which runs concurrently with the service. At 2:00PM we have a Swahili service which is presented in both Swahili and English. At 5:30PM our service caters largely for youth and young adults in its flavour, maintaining our commitment to gospel-centred worship and faithful biblical teaching. We hope that these times inspire people to love Jesus more and live for Him daily.
Our programs are about building a unique experience of Christian Community. They are really just steps to help you on the journey of becoming more like Jesus. They are groups where we hope you experience genuine Christian community.
As you navigate through this website, I hope you find something to suit your age group, your interests and your needs.
Feel free to talk to myself or any of the staff about how you can be involved at WDBC.
